COLOURATION & ENGRAVING

Once a design separation has been approved by our customer the digital files can be used to create various colourways for each design. Our CAD colourists can work to a brief or match to colour chips provided by our customer or will work alongside the customer on-site to give advice and support as part of the creative colouration process. They are focused on market trends for both design and colour.

Sample colourways can be printed directly onto a range of cloths using our suite of digital ink-jet printers, which have been correlated to give a very accurate match to what can be achieved on our conventional screen printing machines in bulk production.

The digital files are also used to laser engrave the rotary or flatbed screens, which can then be used to supply the customer with wet samples for final selection and approval.

When bulk production is ready to take place customers are welcome to attend the initial print run to make any final colour adjustments and sign-off the colour standard for subsequent production. Several fully equipped customer rooms are available on-site to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Alternatively our colourists can match to an approved sample length on the customer’s behalf.
